For the past two decades, Thomas Singer has been developing the cultural complex theory as it applies to groups of people and individuals. This is an extension of Jung’s original theory of complexes. Dr. Singer will first present the general features of the theory. He will then offer examples of how the cultural complex theory is applied both to groups of people and to individuals. Cultural complexes live within groups and within individual members of groups.
