This book, conceived in the aftermath of the catastrophic events of October 7th, 2023, and their geopolitical consequences, adopts a neo-Jungian approach, aiming to transcend the comfort of a singular, simplified narrative. Elana Lakh asserts that \u201cIsraeli society lives in an ongoing traumatic mode of experiencing reality,” with this dissociative experience driving much of its denial and disavowal. Lakh offers an understanding of psychological processes within the Israeli society. Lakh’s work pushes past theoretical confines, taking her insights to areas of urgent need. Her mission is to foster real, meaningful societal change, embodying the neo-Jungian principle that reflection must lead to action.<\/div>\n
