This presentation, based upon Jungian analyst Eve Maram\u2019s recent book,\u00a0The Schizophrenia<\/em>\u00a0Complex<\/em>\u00a0(Chiron, 2022), focuses on the ways in which the thoughts and feelings constellated by encounters with what we call schizophrenia can become a complex.\u00a0 Whether one has the symptoms of schizophrenia or is in a relationship with someone who has schizophrenia, experiencing the impact of the feelings and emotions generated by the unconscious can feel both overwhelming and chaotic.\u00a0 Drawing from personal material and the collective and archetypal aspects of an encounter with the chaos of the unconscious, we will examine the healing power of Eros as a force of hope and connection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
