The presenter will explore some aspects of Jung\u2019s journey of self-realisation beginning with his early experience of religion and how it awakened in him a longing for a direct inner knowing and experience of the \u2018transcendent\u2019. Jung\u2019s painting of ma\u1e47\u1e0dalas in a time of profound personal crisis led him to knowledge of a sacred centre in the psyche that was later confirmed in his numinous Liverpool dream.
