Jung and Stanislav Grof, at once distinct and yet deeply overlapping and coherent with each other, have provided an extraordinary frame of reference for psychedelic experience and therapy. We will also very briefly survey the ways that the results of psychedelic research have either affirmed or differed from the teachings of a number of major depth psychologists, from Freud and William James, Rank, Adler, and Klein to Horney, Reich, Laing, and certain central insights of feminist depth psychology.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, we will address the remarkably intensive and sustained research in astrology that both Jung and Grof pursued.
