How can it be a guide, an inspiration, and a tool for knowledge-making? What can it teach us about the psyche and our relationship with others? We would like to explore this further in our transdisciplinary conference,\u00a0<em>Astrology in Focus:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Navigating Art, Psyche, and Knowledge,<\/em>\u00a0by looking at the intricate connections between astrology, creativity, and knowledge. From ancient traditions to modern interpretations, we invite scholars, practitioners, creatives, and enthusiasts to contribute their insights on how astrology serves as an inspiration for artistic expression and a pathway to deeper insights into the human experience, exploring the multifaceted dimensions of astrology as a science, psychology, and art.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome proposals for 15-minute virtual presentations (scholarly or creative formats) that explore astrology from a wide range of disciplines, including literature, media studies, psychology, anthropology, cultural studies, philosophy, sociology, and others.<\/p>\n<p>Conference themes include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Astrology as a Science:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Astrology and technology (apps, artificial intelligence, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Astrology and quantum physics<\/li>\n<li>Studies within astrological frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Astrology\u2019s alignment with scientific principles.<\/li>\n<li>Intersections of astronomy and astrology in the pursuit of cosmic understanding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Astrology and the Psyche:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Astrology in depth psychology and psychotherapy<\/li>\n<li>Astrological symbolism and archetypes<\/li>\n<li>Impact of astrological factors on individual and collective consciousness.<\/li>\n<li>Astrology and personality<\/li>\n<li>Astrology and relationships<\/li>\n<li>The role of astrology in self-discovery<\/li>\n<li>Applied archetypal astrology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Astrology and the Creative Arts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sharing you astrology inspired creative works (poetry, painting film, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>The role of astrology in various art forms, including literature, visual arts, and performing arts.<\/li>\n<li>Astrological symbolism in cultural expressions and artistic movements.<\/li>\n<li>How astrology inspires creativity and artistic interpretations.<\/li>\n<li>Astrological writing prompts<\/li>\n<li>Astrology in pop culture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cAstrology represents the sum of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity\u201d, Carl Jung Is astrology a science, an art, or both?
