\nWithin this bi-personal therapeutic field, personal and archetypal dynamics are manifested in ways that transference theory alone cannot explain. Instead, conditions of treatment\u2014such as fee, frequency of sessions, inclusion of third parties, and the therapist\u2019s often unconscious interventions\u2014create the ground for non-generative archetypal alignments to take root and become lived realities between client and therapist.\u00a0This reflects an experience of entrainment rather than transference, revealing how both participants are drawn into a pre-existent archetypal field.<\/p>\n
