As the embodiment of the unconscious, it is imbued with history and prehistory, comprehends the contents of the past, and provides the individual with the elements he should know about his prehistory. For the individual, the soul represents all the life of the past that is still alive within him.\u201d (<span class=\"s2\">Memories, Dreams, Reflections<\/span>)<\/p>\n<p class=\"s4\">The best way to experience what Jung calls \u201cunexpected things becoming conscious\u201d is to walk the streets of Rome: small winding streets, wide majestic ones, alleys, promenades, squares, wonderful little courtyards and hidden corners that suddenly appear. That\u2019s Rome.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ms-outlook-mobile-reference-message skipProofing\" role=\"presentation\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The XXIV International Congress of Analytical Psychology will bring together the international Jungian community to explore the psyche\u2019s capacity for transformation in times of global uncertainty.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In an era marked by wars, political polarization, ecological crisis, technological acceleration, and widespread instability, the analytic community is called to reflect on the psyche\u2019s capacity to create and sustain\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">temenos<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u2014a protected yet permeable symbolic space in which transformation may occur.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\"><strong>The Call for Papers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The Program Committee welcomes proposals across a wide range of formats: single presentations, joint presentations and panel discussions, plenaries, posters, workshops, and other formats including film, performance, and experiential groups. Presentations may be offered in any language, with an English translation required three weeks before the congress opens. Proposals should be no more than 500 words and submitted via the congress online platform by <strong>November 16, 2026<\/strong>. <a href=\"https:\/\/iaap28.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/How-to-prepare-and-submit-your-proposal.pdf\">Full submission guidelines and practical details are available here.<\/a> Program decisions will be announced by June 2027.<\/p>\n<p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal leading-[1.7]\">The Program Committee is chaired by Brockton Hill and includes representatives from analytical psychology organisations in the USA, Colombia, Switzerland, South Africa, Lithuania, Japan, Italy, Uruguay, and Canada.
