Eight Jungian analysts, each seasoned by years of inner and outer work, were invited to contribute chapters to a volume exploring pivotal individuation experiences shaped by Love, Eros, and Relatedness.<\/p>\n
What emerged across these writings was striking: again and again, the authors found themselves describing encounters with dimensions of the Divine\u2014most often through the feminine face of the sacred.\u00a0In Honor of the Feminine\u00a0became both the spirit and the unifying thread of their shared endeavor.<\/p>\n
Susan Clements Negley, Jungian analyst in private practice in\u00a0San Antonio, Texas,\u00a0and contributing author to this volume, will offer a reading from her chapter,\u00a0\u201cA Love Story.\u201d\u00a0She has previously presented her work on cooking and alchemy to the Jung Society of Washington.<\/p>\n
Negley\u2019s chapter has been described\u2014as has the work of her fellow contributors\u2014as deeply courageous: courageous in its willingness to reveal intensely personal material, to take psychic risks, and to expose one of the most intimate regions of analytic and human life.<\/p>\n
In this presentation, she shares a story that is at once confession and reclamation\u2014an act of recovering female sovereignty and transforming what has been held in secrecy and shame into something sacred.
