This expansion, including a virtual dimension propelled by technology and AI, has enabled a growing number of individuals to become global nomads or \u2018third culture kids or adults,\u2019 moving internationally for work. These global nomads, characterized by diverse lifestyles, mindsets, and cultural backgrounds, face high degrees of uncertainty and precariousness due to frequent relocations. The journey to psychological individuation as a third culture adult is both adventurous and challenging. Focusing on the needs of mobile individuals, Elias Winterton examines the challenges faced by young global nomads. Using the case of Muriel, a Gen Z member (people born from 1995 to 2010) and digital native, who has undergone four relocations across three continents. Winterton explores the struggles with gender identity and sexual orientation, navigating societal pressures.
