Pessoa and Petry ask what it means to relocate illness from the pathological into the realm of the event, using Nietzsche as a guide back into the depths of contemporary suffering. Drawing on Jung&#8217;s psychopoetics, the symposium explores how giving space to the psyche&#8217;s creative activity means listening carefully to the &#8220;other&#8221; that speaks within us, treating suffering as an imaginal trace that can lead toward genuine transformation of the self.
