Tonight, Susan Negley speaks on courage, confession, and the sacred in individuation for\u00a0<em>Jung Society Washington<\/em>. Tomorrow, Murray Stein leads a workshop on Jung&#8217;s Map of the Soul for the\u00a0<em>Centre for Applied Jungian Studies<\/em>. On Sunday, the\u00a0<em>Jung Association of Central Ohio<\/em>\u00a0hosts a book club session on an Ann Ulanov lecture on the Red Book, and on Tuesday the\u00a0<em>Southern African Association of Jungian Analysts<\/em>\u00a0turns to the dark feminine in myth and folklore.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We feature two books. Wolfgang Giegerich&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Jung e o Cristianismo<\/em>\u00a0(Portuguese edition) reexamines core Christian doctrines as truths of the soul rather than just theology. And Patrick J. Mahaffey&#8217;s<em>\u00a0<\/em><span class=\"ml-rte-link-wrapper\" data-redactor-span=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/jungian.directory\/fcxfougk\/books\/individuation-and-beyond-world-views-god-images-and-self-realization\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Individuation and Beyon<\/em><em>d<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0was published at the beginning of the year in January.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Two conferences are worth noting in your calendar:\u00a0<em>the Inter-Regional Society of Jungian Analysts<\/em>&#8216; biennial invitational returns to Cincinnati in October. And the\u00a0<em>London Arts-Based Research Centre<\/em>&#8216;s Alchemy conference takes place online in November, with its call for papers closing at the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">We also feature two courses.\u00a0<em>Pacifica Graduate Institute<\/em>\u00a0opens a new course on integrating spirituality and religion into counselling, starting next month. And\u00a0<em>JUNG Archademy<\/em>\u00a0offers a course on working with the feeling function starting in November.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Scroll down for this week&#8217;s selection of three YouTube videos.
