This week’s event lineup ranges from myth and epic, to inner complexes and unlikely parallels. Tonight,\u00a0Jung Society Washington<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0explores the Bhagavad Gita through a Jungian lens with Ashok Bedi. Tomorrow, the\u00a0C G Jung Society of Atlanta<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0turns to complexes and the “little people” of the inner life with James Hollis. Next month, the\u00a0Association of Jungian Analysts<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0compares narcissistic and borderline motifs in fairytales, and the\u00a0British Psychotherapy Foundation<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0finds parallels between Argentine tango and analysis with Sally Arthur.<\/p>\n

We feature two new books. Ra\u00efna Manuel-Paris’s\u00a0Ragnell \u2013 The Woman Who Was a Beast<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0reimagines the Arthurian tale of Dame Ragnell and Sir Gawain, in which the beast is the real beauty. It is available now from\u00a0Chiron Publications.<\/em>\u00a0And J. Hill’s\u00a0Synchronicity in Grief<\/em><\/a><\/span>, coming in October from\u00a0Routledge<\/em>, weaves Jungian theory with contemporary grief work.<\/p>\n

Two conferences are upcoming:\u00a0Pacifica Graduate Institute<\/em><\/a><\/span>‘s Goddess-Makers 2026 explores collapse as threshold instead of a catastrophe, and the\u00a0London Arts-Based Research Centre<\/em><\/a><\/span>‘s The Art of Chaos takes place online in December, with its call for papers closing November 1.<\/p>\n

We also feature two courses.\u00a0Jung Platform<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0opens a new course on self-hypnosis next month. And\u00a0JUNG Archademy<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0offers a course on performance anxiety, creativity, and individuation starting in November, with early-bird pricing now available.<\/p>\n
