This week’s spotlight event comes from Oregon Friends of C. G. Jung<\/em>, where Dr. Thomas Singer leads an interactive workshop on American cultural complexes, from the MAGA complex to American narcissism, and how they can possess, distort, and clash within the individual and collective psyche.<\/p>\n

The rest of this week’s events range from dream incubation to esoteric retreats and current affairs. The Romanian Society of Jungian Analysis<\/em> explores dream incubation as a technique for seeking guidance, the Independent Group of Analytical Psychologists<\/em> turns to Jung’s own 1919 weekend retreats near Waddesdon, complete with active imagination and tree spirits, and the C. G. Jung-Gesellschaft Freiburg<\/em> continues its monthly series asking what analytical psychology can contribute to current events.<\/p>\n

We feature two books. Leslie Stein’s Character: A Novel<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0will be published by\u00a0Chiron Publications. And Kucinsky and Podracka’s Jungian Training and Being Trained: Letting in the Light<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0by Karnac books will be published in October.<\/p>\n

Two conferences are worth noting in your diary. the London Arts-Based Research Centre<\/em>‘s “Surrealism and Arts-Based Research” takes place online at the end of September, and MOITAR\u00c1 2026 returns to Campos do Jord\u00e3o, S\u00e3o Paulo, in November, asking how women challenge their time.<\/p>\n

We also feature two courses. The Association of Jungian Analysts<\/em> opens its ten-week foundations series, The Living Symbol, in October. And the C.G. Jung Foundation for Analytical Psychology<\/em> offers a five-week course on the patterns that shape love and intimacy, starting in November.<\/p>\n
