This week’s spotlight event comes from the Society of Analytical Psychology<\/em> and Journal of Analytical Psychology<\/em>, where Robert Tyminski leads an experiential workshop on countertransference, looking at how different psychoanalytic traditions have understood it, both as an analytic resource and as a potential interference, at the end of this month.<\/p>\n

The rest of this week’s events range from myth to mortality. Tonight, the Jung Society of Washington<\/em> turns to Celtic mythology and the experience of coming into being. Tomorrow, the C.G. Jung Institute of San Francisco<\/em> explores death and individuation, and on Sunday the Maine Jung Centre<\/em> reads Snow White as an alchemical process. Next week, the Association of Jungian Analysts<\/em> turns to telepathic communication with animals, and Jung Platform<\/em> hosts a free conversation with mythologist Michael Meade on his latest book.<\/p>\n

We feature two books.\u00a0Z\u00fcrich 2025 \u2013 Experiences of the Non-Understandable<\/em><\/a><\/span> will be published by Daimon Verlag, gathering proceedings from last year’s International Congress for Analytical Psychology. And\u00a0Eranos Yearbook 76<\/em><\/a><\/span>\u00a0<\/em>also by Daimon Verlag is now available, collecting three years of Eranos conference and lecture material.<\/p>\n

We remind you of two conferences on the calendar. the Centro Italiano di Psicologica Analitica<\/em>‘s free hybrid conference on Fellini and the spirit of the depths takes place tomorrow, and the London Arts-Based Research Centre<\/em>‘s Alchemy conference meets online in November, with its call for papers deadline extended to October 9.<\/p>\n

We also feature two courses. The Centre for Applied Jungian Studies<\/em> opens its ten-week course on projection and the unconscious, The Veils of Illusion, next week. And Pacifica Graduate Institute<\/em>‘s eight-month Graduate Certificate in Contemporary Analytical Psychology and Neo-Jungian Studies begins October 10.<\/p>\n
