Dreams and Symbols speak in a language that often reaches beyond what can easily be thought or spoken. They may carry aspects of personal experience, emotional life and unconscious meaning that seek expression through image, metaphor and imagination. This experiential year-long programme offers a space for a sustained encounter with dream material and symbolic processes within a small reflective group. With contemplative attitude, and through reflection and discussion, potentially we open the doorway to encountering what Jung called “The Symbolic Life”.
This course is for clinicians and non-clinicians who wish to deepen their engagement with a Jungian approach to the process of Dreaming and Symbol formation. The programme offers a focused exploration of dreams and symbols through reflection, experiential exercises and discussion. It may particularly appeal to those who have previously attended introductory Jungian programmes and are seeking an opportunity for a more concentrated engagement with symbolic life and inner experience further exploring meaning and purpose.
