Working with people has exposed me to how different we can be from one another. Our diversity of problems, needs, and solutions never ceases to amaze and interest me. We have different learning preferences and challenges, cultural heritages, gender experience, backgrounds of trauma, attachment, symptom manifestation, and coping style. There seems to always be something new that motivates me to expand my knowledge and skill base. As a result I have delved into numerous models of how to understand the human experience and elements of transformation. I have extensive experience utilizing brief, strategic, and problem focused therapy, family systems, narrative therapy, meditation, creative arts, infant, child, adolescent, and adult development, crisis intervention, and in-depth psychodynamic analysis. I integrate these complementary methodologies offering a highly personalized approach to therapy that is tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, I work with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
