JOHN STEINHELBER, PhD, is a clinical psychologist and a Jungian analyst. He is an analyst member of the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, where his primary interests have included analytic training, professional ethics, and the spiritual in analysis. He was formerly a faculty member at the University of California, San Francisco, where he was director of training in clinical psychology at the Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. His professional practice is in Fairfax, California.
