Dr. Lindley is a Jungian analyst who has retired from private practice. He now lives in New York City.  He taught junior and senior high school English for nine years. He then taught in teacher education programs at Yale and Dartmouth, and was for twenty years the director of teacher education in English at the University of Illinois, Chicago. He is author of This Rough Magic: The Life of Teaching and On Life’s Journey: Always Becoming.
