Together we’ll watch Laura’s stop-motion, fairy tale film, “The Linguist,” based on the Grimm tale, “The 3 Languages.” We’ll meet in small groups and plenary discussions to locate how the symbols of the fairy tale show up in our own lives. We’ll emphasize the feeling as well as thinking functions. We will finish with a short discussion on the context of the film as well as the struggles of engaging our inferior function, creating art, and keeping play alive against the messages of capitalism.
