From 1979 until 2005 she and her husband raised two children while serving as Unitarian Universalist parish ministers, for ten years in Rochester NY followed by sixteen years in Toronto. During those twenty-six years Donna had extensive experience as the spiritual leader of two large urban congregations working with diverse multi-aged populations. She was engaged in pastoral care with families, the elderly, couples and individuals. Her experiences included crisis response; memorial services and grief counselling; marriages and couples counselling; children’s religious education and work with parents; hospice care; adult programming and life transitions.
