intro 2024-08-02

Welcome to Friday and to this edition of the Jungian.Directory newsletter. Have a scroll through to see the latest in Jungian news, events, courses, conferences, and books. As always, we thank you for subscribing. If you know of anyone who might enjoy our content, please forward this email to them.

As August kicks off we are seeing a slight lull in our calendar. The sunny weather in the northern hemisphere beckons normally indoor analysts to the tantalizing outdoors, while the cold in the Southern hemisphere inspires a cozy fireside retreat. It is with this attitude of relaxation that the Jungian.Directory newsletter will take a short two week break not only to refresh our spirits, but also our weekly offerings to you. We will be back with a spring in our step on the 22nd of August.

Although programs are slowing down slightly, August is abundant in conferences, take a look below to see what you can look forward to in the next month.

As usual we also present our pick of two books and two courses that you may find interesting.

At the very bottom of this email you will find this week’s selection of 3 YouTube videos. In the first Dr Ashok Bedi speaks to Jung in the World podcast about the east and the west. In the second Mark Saban dives deeper into Jung’s own personality. In the third, Mervat Nisser explores Jung from a Hermetic perspective.
