As useful preparationfor making sense of the book, the first hour of this program offers a brief synopsis of all 42 chapters of The Book of Job in The Bible. In the second hour of the course, we follow Jung’s advice, and digest the contents of the Foreword, the Prefatory Note, and the “Lectori Benevolo,” all of which precede the text of the book itself.
