We are trying something new with Dr. Murray Stein’s program. Dr. Stein has prepared a video especially for Phoenix Friends, which we will watch together at an in-person gathering.
Following the presentation, we will have a group discussion and develop questions and requests for additional comments to send to Dr. Stein. He will then prepare a second recording responding to our questions, creating an ongoing conversation between Dr. Stein and our Phoenix Friends community.
This program will be offered as both an in person event and via zoom. The in person discussion will be help at Changing Hands Bookstore at 300 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Jung died in 1961 – 65 years ago this year on June 6. He was born in 1875 – 150 years ago in 2025, the year of the IAAP Congress in Zurich. From this distance, we can begin to assess his legacy to humanity. Jung belonged to a first generation of Europeans who saw beyond the confines of Europe and could take in all the cultures of the world. Depth psychology, Jung’s legacy, unifies humanity and beyond that unifies humanity with the fundamentals of the cosmic order. This lecture will discuss some distinctive features of this legacy.
