Revisioning Archetypes – Workshop

“You can be a puppet of the archetypes, or you can be a participant in how they unfold according to your level of consciousness, what you have integrated, what you have faced in yourself.”  – Richard Tarnas

Triggers, like dreams, provide clues to the contents of our unconscious. The evolution of consciousness, collectively and individually, occurs when the contents of the unconscious become conscious. At that point we have the power of choice. We can renegotiate our relationship with the archetypes that dwell in our psyche.

This is the process that C.G. Jung used when he created The Red Book. He explored his relationship with the inhabitants of his unconscious.

In this workshop we will consider the openings to psyche when we are triggered by everyday experiences. Who will you meet and what do they have to say for themselves?

On Friday evening, I talk about my book and what I see emerging in the field of Depth Psychology. What is being asked of us in these dystopian days?

On Saturday you will have an opportunity to create safe communal space for your own explorations. Saturday’s exercises come from an experiential workshop I created called “Revisioning Archetypes.”
