newsletter 12 december 2025

Welcome to Friday and to the newest edition of the Jungian.Directory newsletter. We’re happy to bring you the latest from the Jungian community, featuring the latest events, books, courses, conferences, and videos. We hope you enjoy this week’s offerings.

Our events calendar is starting to slow down as it reflects our own shift towards the festive season, but this weekend is still brimming with tantalising topics to be unpacked.

This week we feature two books, one recently published and one forthcoming. Escaping the End of Times – Dreams in Late Ming China by Brigid E. Vance was published by  The Chinese University of Hong Kong Press, and Collected Psychoanalytic Works of Sabina Spielrein, Volume 1 will be published middle of next year by Routledge.

We also feature two upcoming conferences, and two reading groups starting early in the new year.

Scroll to the very bottom of this email to see our selection of three YouTube videos. In the first, Laura London Interviews Paul Bishop on Goethe’s influence on Jung. In the second, Peter Demuth speaks about a monster in the world. In the third, Mary Antonia Wood looks at how three archetypes merge into one.
