The Tenth Annual Regional Bion Symposium (RBS) 2025 will take place in person from April 25-27 at the Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey, California, offering an in-depth exploration of Bionian psychoanalysis with a focus on “Clinical Explications of Transformations of K and O.” Keynote speaker Rudi Vermote from will provide insights into these complex psychoanalytic concepts. Attendees will also have access to a complimentary online lecture by Joseph Aguayo on April 19, which will examine W.R. Bion’s reading of C.G. Jung’s Memories, Dreams, and Reflections.
For those seeking a more immersive experience, an optional pre-conference event, “Clinical Jung for Bionians,” led by Mark Winborn, will be held on April 24. This session will feature a clinical case presentation, small discussion groups, and an integrative discussion with keynote speakers. The main symposium will officially commence on the afternoon of April 25 and continue through the morning of April 27, featuring discussions, keynote presentations, and a buffet lunch on April 26. The gathering will conclude with final reflections and planning for the following year.
