The Books of Wolfgang Giegerich

Please join us for a two-day examination of the extraordinary work of one of the most challenging and important writers in Analytical Psychology today. From the Soul’s Logical Life published in 1998 to Coniunctio in 2021, speakers will present and lead discussions on each of the nine books published by Wolfgang Giegerich over the last 23 years.

There are several compelling reasons to consider signing up for this workshop. It’s not easy to keep up with the prodigious output of Wolfgang Giegerich. It’s quite possible you haven’t yet read several of these titles. At the workshop, a carefully chosen presenter will give an overview of each one, bringing out key aspects and questions raised in that book. This can help you decide what to read next. Even if you are quite familiar with a given title, the presentation and ensuing discussion may well raise important elements you hadn’t considered before. Finally, following the workshop, we will open a topic in our online forum for each book so the discussion can continue!

The Soul’s Logical Life (John Hoedl) What is Soul? (Jane Smith-Eivemark) Neurosis: The Logic of a Metaphysical Illness (Philip Kime) Pitfalls in Comparing Buddhist and Western Psychology (Tsuyoshi Inomata) Animus-Psychologie (Ulric Stuck) The Historical Emergence of the I (Harry Henderson) Working with Dreams (Michael Whan) What Are the Factors that Heal?
