The theme of this day will allow us to appreciate the influence of CG Jung on the artistic world of yesterday and today. Jungian thought is a thought of creativity, notably through the concepts of regression, dialectics of the self and the unconscious and psychic energetics. Jung associated with and influenced artists of his time. This influence continues to this day and many creators, in all artistic fields, continue to refer to it. We will meet some great figures of filmmakers, writers, painters, musicians, videographers and dancers who regularly demonstrate their interest in Jung’s work and draw their inspiration from it.

We will then enjoy the dialogue with the work of Edvard Munch. In his diary, Munch, who did not know Jung, wrote that with his art he wanted to explain life and its meaning to himself and help others to do the same . By questioning his art from this perspective, without forgetting the dramas of his life and times, we will see what Jungian references and concepts can bring to our understanding, enriching our view of his art.
