Aurelia by Gerard de Nerval

A poet immersed in the romantic spirit and faced with mental disorders, Gérard de Nerval wrote at the end of his life a quasi-autobiographical story entitled "Aurélia".

CG Jung had several copies in his library and commented on it in two lectures he gave a century after it was written.

In light of the dreams described in the story, the author's biography and his correspondence, we will analyze the journey of a man whom his psychiatrist was already trying to cure through his art at the time.
