I live and practise in North Wales in the town of Conwy. My professional experience includes Student Counselling at Bangor University where I was Head of the Counselling Service for ten years. I conducted analytic psychotherapy groups for mature students and students who self-harmed while training as a group analyst with the Institute of Group Analysis in Manchester. I also ran staff consultation groups. I have counselled in a G.P. practice, for Flintshire County Council Occupational Health Department, for the Primary Care Service (a scheme which provided therapy for doctors, dentists and pharmacists) and latterly, as Principal Psychological Therapist in an N.H.S. Psychological Therapies Department in Wrexham. As a group analyst I conducted long-term analytic psychotherapy groups for out-patients and supervised a wide range of clinicians. I retired from the N.H.S. in 2014 and am now in private practice. I currently see individuals for psychotherapy, Jungian analysis and supervision both group and individual.
