For Sociology, the quintessence of social disintegration, and in the context of the foundations proposed by Jung, a cry for help from the soul. For us, created at the service of the soul, it is essential to understand the phenomenon of suicide through a multidisciplinary perspective, and to understand it as a timeless manifestation present in the most diverse cultures and in the most different periods of human history. Jung and Hillman's theory provides us with more consistent bases when working with symbolic concepts of death, which enables the professional of Analytical Psychology to understand what needs to die, and from there, show the suicide, alternatives other than literal death. Within this context, it is also essential to distinguish which ethical issues involve the work of psychology professionals in the face of a patient with suicidal potential.
