Myth Salon at The Movies

People know wisdom is found in dark spaces.  Through encounters with the unconscious, from caves to the vastness of the heavens to dreams, the psyche is drawn to and from emptiness, silence and darkness for guidance and enlightenment.  When the lights come up from darkness, the greatest show on Earth begins!  Going to the movies is just one of the many ways the pandemic has changed the shape of our cultural landscape and the movie industry. This year, the Academy Awards will be held on Sunday March 12.

The following Thursday March 16 the 1st Annual Myth Salon at the Movies will feature an incredible panel of film and myth scholar-professionals moderated by Dr. Will Linn in a unique exploration of the films and stories of this year’s crop of creative cinema.
