Carolyn Shoshana Fershtman (J.D., University of California, Los Angeles, Ph.D.) is a clinical psychologist and a candidate in the Analyst Training Program at the Jung Institute of San Francisco. She served as Core Faculty at Meridian University, where she coordinated the doctoral program. Shoshana spent many years as an attorney and advocate supporting environmental justice and Native American sovereignty. Her interests include intergenerational trauma, Jewish mysticism, and shamanism. She is completing a book exploring the experience of Jews healing intergenerational trauma through reconnection with the sacred.
