The present study aims to reflect on the changes that happen in women when they become pregnant and become mothers. To do this, visit the dismantling route that goes from the desire to get pregnant to the puerperium, with a special focus on the moment of delivery. For that, it uses the theoretical tools of Jungian psychology. The birth of the Other psychics - who accompany the birth of the literal baby - within the mother, will bring a discussion about the influence of the Dionysus archetype in this whole process, as well as about a supposed female inferiority. Finally, it concludes that only the recovery of bisexuality in the coniunctio can dignify us as women, but also as culture and society as a whole.
