I am a psychologist from the National University of Colombia, in Bogotá, the city where I reside. In my university studies curriculum I received a lot of information about Sigmund Freud but never about Carl Jung. That is why I analyzed myself from a very young age with a couple of renowned psychoanalysts to whom I owe a huge debt of gratitude. But at the beginning of the 1990s, the book Man and His Symbols , one of Jung's last works, “accidentally” fell into my hands , written in the company of several of his closest collaborators. Since then I began a systematic reading of his work that I have continued to this day. To share with more people the great discovery I had made, I founded what was called Amigos de Jung Colombiain the 1990s, in which he coordinated uninterrupted study groups for more than ten years. These informal groups were the seed of what in 2005 became the  Association of Analytical Psychology in Colombia , and which later became  Friends of Analytical Psychology in Colombia ( ADEPAC) ,  of which I am a founding member and Director. I will talk about this group later.
