I work on Sydney’s lower north shore and have been in private practice since 1993 and have been supervising other clinicians since 2001. I also offer analysis / therapy and supervision by telephone or Skype for people who live interstate or outside Australia. My training was with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts and, as a supervising (training analyst) with ANZSJA, I offer analysis and supervision for those interested in entering Jungian or other psychodynamic training and for candidates in ANZSJA’s analytic training. I am also a Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia clinical member and accredited supervisor and offer individual and small group supervision to psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, counsellors and other professionals who work in the mental health field seeing people with a broad range of issues. This supervision can also be by telephone or Skype for those who live interstate or outside Australia. Building on my analysis / therapy work, I also specialise in supervising clinicians who work with adults who have eating disorders. Since 2001 I have run clinical workshops and seminars in a number of countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Europe, the USA and Canada, Singapore, South Africa and Russia (see Presentations) and have published a number of clinical and theoretical papers (see Publications). In May 2014 I gave a paper at the Journal of Analytical Psychology’s XIIth Conference in Berlin entitled “Working with Chronic and Relentless Self-Hatred: A Clinical Study and Some Thoughts”. The conference theme was “The Varieties of Jungian Clinical Experience: Complex, Identity, Intersubjectivity”.
