PAUL BISHOP & William Jacks Chair of Modern Languages at the University of Glasgow and is interested in the connections between the German literary tradition and the history of psychoanalysis and analytical psychology. His current projects include an analysis of Nietzsche's discourses of philology and theology, to be published in 2024, and his most recent publication is Reading Plato through Jung: Why Must the Third Become the Fourth? (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022). He is the author of the book "The Dionysian Selfi C.G Jung's reception of Friedrich Nietzsche"
