Arts-Based Research Between Two Seas Jung And The Islamic World

Keynote & C.G. Jung Award Recipient

Susan Rowland, PH.D.

Dr. Susan Rowland will be honored as the next recipient of the C.G. Jung Award and will deliver her C.G. Jung Memorial Keynote Address via at our IAJS Zoomconference on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2023. Susan Rowland (Ph.D.) was founding chair of IAJS 2003-6, having previously been convenor of the steering group set up after the IAAP Academic Conference in 2002. She shares the honor of this award with members of that steering group and the first IAJS committee because the essential collaborative work of extending, deepening, and exploring the multidisciplinary Jungian studies field is/was a real creative endeavor much undervalued. In 2007, Susan was promoted Professor of English and Jungian Studies in Greenwich University, UK. Since 2010 she has been teaching Jung, feminism and Jungian Arts-Based Research at Pacifica Graduate Institute in the Jungian and Archetypal Studies hybrid doctoral program and the also hybrid MA in Depth Psychology and Creativity with an Emphasis on the Humanities and the Arts.
