El sacrificio está en los orígenes de la cultura tanto de oriente como de occidente, desde el neolítico hasta nuestros días. ¿Qué lugar ocupa el sacrificio en la vida de cada uno de nosotros?
Tomando como fondo el episodio de la Odisea, veremos cuatro históricos sacrificios, dos del siglo XX y dos del siglo XXI, a fin de propiciar la respuesta individual a esta pregunta.
Odysseus returns to Ithaca after the Trojan War and finds his palace invaded by dozens of suitors who, believing he has died, seek the hand of his wife Penelope. It is they who will find death at the hands of Odysseus. Sacrifice is at the origin of culture both in the East and the West, from the Neolithic period to the present day. What role does sacrifice play in each of our lives? Using the episode from the Odyssey as a backdrop, we will look at four historic sacrifices, two from the 20th century and two from the 21st century, in order to facilitate an individual response to this question.
