Establishing or Growing a Private Practice

As healers or psychotherapists, we dedicate our professional lives to restoring, supporting, and accompanying others in their mental, emotional, or spiritual journeys. As human beings and members of society, we also need to support ourselves and our families financially. However, we are not taught in school how to sustain the business side of our practice, and many new psychotherapists find it extremely difficult to grow their private practice to a sustainable size, much less beyond. In this two-week course, we will use practical templates to formulate a clear business strategy for creating or growing our own private practice. Explore the basics of running a business as a psychotherapist: defining and learning what it takes to execute a business strategy, getting acquainted with basic financial controls, defining your market segment, promoting and marketing, and much more.
