2023, le sacré à l’aune du sacrifice…
Résumé : Le Livre rouge amorce-t-il une révolution spirituelle ?
Thème : Si Jung nous engage à nous ouvrir au tout autre, à l’esprit des profondeurs et à respecter ce qui peut nous saisir, le sacré dont il nous parle n’est pas ce devant quoi nous devons nous prosterner, mais bien plus de ce dont nous devons nous distinguer et face auquel nous avons à nous positionner. Un telle attitude nous imposera de sacrifier en nous le héros et une illusion de toute puissance avant de descendre dans nos enfers. Quand il nous propose de faire naître Dieu dans l’âme, en nous mettant à son service, cela signifie que nous devons intérioriser le divin à notre mesure et nullement le désacraliser. Une telle position réceptive et active qui peut sembler ambivalente conjugue humilité et responsabilité et définit donc de manière réaliste et exigeante l’attitude religieuse. Elle éclaire ainsi la façon dont on peut comprendre la notion de sacrifice et pose bien la différence que l’on peut faire entre l’individuation et le développement personnel.

Abstract: Does the Red Book initiate a spiritual revolution?
Theme : If Jung urges us to open ourselves to the whole other, to the spirit of the depths and to respect what can seize us, the sacred of which he speaks to us is not what we must bow down to, but much more what we have to distinguish ourselves and against which we have to position ourselves. Such an attitude will require us to sacrifice within us the hero and an illusion of omnipotence before descending into our hells. When he proposes to us to give birth to God in the soul, by putting ourselves at his service, this means that we must interiorize the divine to our measure and in no way desacralize it. Such a receptive and active position, which may seem ambivalent, combines humility and responsibility and therefore defines the religious attitude in a realistic and demanding way.
