Dreams can be nightmarish because they present terrifying situations, but they can also show us the unthinkable and the unbearable. Grotesque images in dreams may be humorous or horrifying, but they always come in the interest of growth and healing.
Jungian analysts Lisa Marchiano and Deborah Stewart unpack grotesque imagery in dreams. Why does the dream maker choose such images, and what can we learn from them? We’ll take a look at some dreams with grotesque imagery, and solicit grotesque dreams from the audience.
