Friday Lecture | 7.30pm | Online & in person | $10
The Heroine’s Journey is essential for men and women to become whole. Jung illustrates it as we read the Red Book. Gandhi and Martin Luther King followed it. Countless unsung heroines have changed the world. The hero’s journey was popularized by Joseph Campbell, the famous mythologist. But the heroine’s journey has been diminished. In this lecture, you will discover heroine’s journey of initiation, psychological, and spiritual growth through fairytale, myth, history, and history. The feminine perspective in all of us is a key to inner and outer transformation.
Saturday Workshop | 10am – 4pm | In person | $40
Dreams are inner teaching stories. They are personal and sacred and guide us to what our unconscious wants us to know and integrate. Each dream is perfect and only needs our honest devotion to decipher its message. The facilitator will support the dreamer to enter their dream through movement, art, and writing to engage with the dreamscape. Meaning emerges as we allow ourselves to experience the symbolic language of the dream. As a group, we respectfully support each person’s story without projection and interpretation. No prior experience is necessary.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1. To learn how dreams have been used for healing through human history.
2. To understand the importance of dreams for psychological and spiritual growth in
modern times and Jung’s method and contribution to the field.
3. To explore how to work with symbolic dream material using writing, drawing and
movement when it emerges for the purpose of psychic development.
4. To begin to learn how to listen to and support other’s psychological process when
it manifests from the unconscious in the dream without interpreting or projecting
one’s own material onto the client.
