Our journey will begin with a review of key Jungian concepts—archetypes and synchronicity—through the lens of complexity theory, which was developed in the late 20th century. The role of the psychoid layer of archetypal reality will be explored from this vantage point and applied first to recent research in ecological systems. We will look at examples from the history of culture where artisans and artists were able to represent profound insights into complex natural phenomena well ahead of any scientific understanding. They will guide us towards the articulation of the psychoid imagination, a noetic gift of the soul that can help re-enchant the world. Audiovisual materials will aid participants in entering these experiences.
