Assisi Institute: The International Center for the Study of Archetypal Patterns invites you to participate in the first virtual event connected from Assisi, Italy. Since 1989, the Conferences of the Assisi Institute have hosted pioneers in the various interdisciplinary fields of science, mythology, the arts and Jungian analysis. This year we invite you to participate in a very special online presentation, unique in its kind, with Dr. James Hollis. With the beautiful Umbrian hills of Assisi as a backdrop, we will look and listen to Dr. Hollis as he shares his deep wisdom on Psyche with us. Thanks to the generous support of the Assisi Foundation, we are able to offer a truly international event translated into English, Spanish, Italian, Russian and also into the language of the Indonesian community. Jung, Freud and others have left us with a rich tradition of deep psychology. What is Deep Psychology and how does it differ from other ways? What are the main insights into the human condition from which we can still take advantage? The presentation will explore ideas and practical aspects of analytical psychology that deepen our paths and provide us with tools for self-orientation. The presentation is a summary of decades of analytical work, an attempt to summarize some of the hard lessons that life offers us and to identify some of the problems that arise and that sooner or later each of us is facing.
