Certificate/Diploma in Supervision

A psychodynamic/psychoanalytic supervision course with a Jungian orientation.

The course has two strands:

Theory and Practice of Supervision: 10 monthly Saturday workshops that include presentations by senior SAP analysts, including contributors and editors of three leading books in the field. There is an optional written paper to achieve the diploma.

Supervision of Supervision: in weekly groups led by senior SAP analysts.

Applicants should normally have 3 years’ clinical experience post-qualification, be registered with BPC or UKCP or accredited with BACP or equivalent and are expected to be working as supervisors by the start of the course. Additional groups may be possible in West or Southwest London, Oxford, Cambridge, Surrey, Sussex, North Derbyshire or Rutland. Supervision in pairs or individual supervision may be arranged in exceptional circumstances.

A psychodynamic training and substantial experience of psychodynamic therapy/analysis are required.
