Overview

Living a mythic life is being connected to your own life story. What is the reason that you are alive? How to imagine your wounds? How can you give your gift to the world?

In this hands-on course you will gain beautiful mythic perspectives, and practical exercises to get a sense of or deepen your personal myth. Each of the 13 segments has a question to reflect on, guiding you on this journey.

Tribal stories, spiritual traditions, and mythologies all around the world have all sought  to answer these questions. The oldest and most widespread mythology tells us that we are given a fate before we come into this world. To fulfill that fate, a companion accompanies us into the world. This companion—our spirit guide, daimon, or genius—continually tries to guide us toward our fate, even when we have lost touch with it. Meade takes us on a mythical journey that will help to reveal some of the threads of our personal mythology. According to the myths, this journey starts before our birth.

He looks at birth as a mythological event, showing how we can learn more from our physical birth about our own mythology. Each birth is a unique act of creation, mirroring the birth of the world itself. This story, rich with symbols and meanings, is woven into the fabric of our personal mythology. It’s a story that doesn’t end with the first breath; it’s one that we can return to throughout life, especially in moments of challenge and transformation.
