Tonight, The Analysis and Activism (A&A) group presents Collective Voices in Times of Crisis: Reflections on the Student Protests in Serbia. This webinar explores the powerful student-led movement sparked by the tragic Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse on November 1, 2024, which claimed 16 lives. Beginning with a university blockade, the protests escalated after a violent clash on November 22, leading to a nationwide faculty occupation driven by a leaderless collective. Featuring presenters Bojana Stamenković-Rudić, Aleksandra Trtica, Maja Nikolić, Tamara Marjanović, Nevena Tošić, and Đurica Marjanović, this group discussion centers around how collective grief fuels action, challenges authority, and invites psychoanalytic insights.
A&A, founded in 2018 by psychoanalysts and activists, emerged from the need to bridge analysis and social change, building on decades of psychoanalytic activism. You can register for the Zoom event here.
