The paralysis on the battlefield of Arjuna, a Hindu epic hero, is Jung’s confrontation with the Shadow — the collapse of the persona and the summons of the Self. In this lecture, I will explore the Gita’s teaching of dharma (the true nature of reality as taught by the Buddha) as a map of individuation, illuminating how this ancient dialogue between the human soul and the divine speaks directly to modern questions of meaning, vocation, and psychological wholeness.
